Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy products from our online solar shop. Please read them before placing an order. Some terms apply differently depending on whether you are buying as a consumer (for personal use) or as a business (including trade installers); where that is the case, we say so. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us

2. Placing an order

• When you check out, you are taken to a secure payment page run by Square. Placing your order there is an offer to buy the products in your cart.
• Our contract with you is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email.
• We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if there is an obvious error in the price or description. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
• Product images are for illustration. Minor differences in appearance between the image and the product do not affect its specification.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate.
• Delivery charges are added at checkout (see section 4).
• Payment is taken in full when you place your order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Clearpay.

4. Delivery and collection

We deliver to addresses in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Delivery is charged by the total weight of your order:

• In-stock items are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery dates are estimates; if we expect a significant delay, we will let you know.
• If you choose collection, we will contact you when your order is ready at our Dungannon depot.
• Please check your goods when they arrive and tell us about any damage in transit within 48 hours, so we can raise it with the carrier. This does not affect your rights under section 6.
• The goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to you or collected.

5. Cancellations and returns

Consumers: you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days for standard stock items.

• To cancel, email liam@pclenviro.com with your order reference before the period ends.
• Return the goods unused, in their original packaging, within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. You are responsible for the cost of returning them unless they are faulty or not as described.
• We will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving them back, using your original payment method.
• We may reduce your refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is needed to examine them (for example, if they have been installed).
• The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.

Business customers: the statutory right to cancel does not apply. We may accept returns of unused standard stock items in their original packaging within 30 days at our discretion; trade and bulk orders are non-returnable unless faulty.

6. Faulty goods and warranties

• Consumers: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are faulty, you are entitled to a refund within 30 days of delivery, or after that to a repair or replacement, and in some cases a partial or full refund. Contact us with your order reference and a description or photos of the fault.
• Many products also come with a manufacturer's warranty. We will help you make a claim under it; this is in addition to your statutory rights.
• Solar panels, batteries, inverters and associated electrical equipment must be installed by a suitably qualified person in line with the manufacturer's instructions and relevant regulations. We are not responsible for faults or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or fair wear and tear.

7. Our liability

• We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
• Business customers: we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order.

8. Using our website

• We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but product specifications, stock levels and prices can change.
• The content of this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.
• How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and disputes may be brought in the courts of Northern Ireland. If you are a consumer living in the Republic of Ireland, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of Ireland and may bring proceedings in the Irish courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
